Creed

In 1760, in London, James Henry Creed founded the House of Creed. It rapidly grew to be a favorite with the English court, and Queen Victoria appointed Creed as an official supplier to the English throne. Soon, the House of Creed was chosen by all the courts of Europe. From Napoléon III and Empress Eugénie to Emperor Franz-Joseph of Austro-Hungary to Queen Christina of Spain, Creed's creations were recognized for their quality, refinement, and originality.

In 1854, under Empress Eugénie, the House of Creed moved to Paris, and it soon acquired notoriety for its luxury Creed perfumes.

With a very selective clientele, Creed has gone on to create more than 200 unique and exclusive scents, all original and handmade. These masterpiece Creed fragrances were produced by the Creed family over the years. The infusion technique, now abandoned by modern industry, enables Olivier Creed, a perfectionist, to preserve the originality of his fragrances. Creed's trademark is to manufacture its own infusions of vanilla, civet, musk, and ambergris for use in Creed cologne for men and women. The components are then weighed, mixed, macerated, and filtered by hand in the tradition of the house's founder, James Henry Creed.
